Cinemondo
is Link TV’s new world cinema series, hosted by Peter Scarlet, Executive Director of the Tribeca Film Festival. Cinemondo presents U.S. television premieres of outstanding movies that boldly explore the human side of social and political issues faced by people in countries across the world. Among the films currently airing are Beautiful City (Iran), Rana’s Wedding (Palestine) by Hany Abu-Assad whose Paradise Now was a 2006 Oscar nominee for Best Foreign Film, and Stolen Life (China), winner of the 2005 Tribeca Film Festival Best Narrative Feature award.
