Benyoro, Benyoro
Beynyoro took their name, which means “a meeting place,” from Mali’s Bamana language. The six-piece group formed in NYC and have been rocking out every since. Their debut album is 100 percent inspired by Mandé music—more specifically, the music of the Maninka and Bamana people. If you enjoy the traditional sounds of West African music, then you’ll fall in love with Benyoro.
