Fire in the Sky – Aboriginal Music Showcase
Some of the country’s hottest Aboriginal talent is set to light up the stage as the Fire in the Sky showcase touches down in Toronto during the Canadian Aboriginal Music Awards.

On Thursday, Nov. 17th, the Hard Rock Café at Yonge & Dundas Square hosts this must-see, eclectic concert event featuring Fire in the Sky acts that tore up stages during Winnipeg’s Aboriginal Music Week, including:
Aboriginal Peoples Choice Music Award (APCMA) Best Rock CD nominees The Johnnys; APCMA Best Country CD nominee Leanne Goose; Best Instrumental CD nominee Gabriel Ayala and a special guest appearance by Best Flute CD nominee David R. Maracle.
Joining them for the Toronto showcase are multi-award winning blues artist Pura Fe, Thomas Clair, Jasper, Kevin Schofield and EdKo & The Brotherhood, with radio personality Melissa Spence to MC. The evening, sponsored by The Hard Rock Cafe, Long & McQuade, Leanne Goose Music and Johnny International Productions, also features an all star jam.
“It’s an honor to present Fire in the Sky-Toronto, a remarkable event considering the distances we have all traveled to make the night possible,” says co-host/co-sponsor Leanne Goose. “Our peoples have gathered together in celebration since the beginning of time, and we hope you join us in celebrating our musical talent from the four directions!”
Admission is $10 with doors opening at 9 p.m. 2 for 1 admission before 10pm. That's right 2 for $10 before 10pm.
