…to the Center for Cultural Exchange and step lively with Geno Delafose, aka the ‘Creole Cowboy.’
Singing in French the “Creole Cowboy,” as Geno Delafose is sometimes called, seeks to maintain the traditional French roots of zydeco while also mixing in newer styles. Delafose appears with his band the French Rockin’ Boogie tonight at the Center for Cultural Exchange. Bring your dancing shoes so you can more through their two-steps, waltzes, R&B, country and blues standards and Delafose’s own compositions. 02/19/04
