Peru Negro -- The grammy-nominated Peru Negro has been embraced around the globe as the official "Ambassadors of Peruvian Culture." Features dances, colorful costumes, electrifying rhythms and historic verses. this 26-member ensemble performs music that originated in the slave trade of Colonial Peru and has been passed down through generations. March 9 at 8 p.m. in The Slosberg Recital Hall, Brandeis University campus, 415 South St., Waltham. Admission cost is $20, $10 for students and seniors.
