Inspired by the pre-pop Golden Age of Salsa, Bio Ritmo takes the spirit of salsa and infuses it with rock and soul elements for a refreshing retro sound. On tour in support of its debut self-titled CD, the nine piece orchestra iuses salsa’s classic lyrical themes that employed wit to impart practical ideas. They’ll break it down on Friday at the Nova Tera, 78 Albany St, in New Brunswick at 10:30pm.
