The tradition of great music continues this fail with a non stop line up of entertainment led by headliners. Plena Libre and Carlos Oliva. The 12 member orchestra, direct from Puerto Rico will appear live on Saturday night, October 22nd at the Las Olas Riverfront on the Riverwalk. Sunday's main stage on October 23rd will bring back one of South Florida's most popular salsa dance band, Grammy nominee Carlos Oliva y Los Sobrinos del Juez.
¡VIVA BROWARD! the month-plus celebration that salutes diversity and com- jnemorates the traditions of Hispanic Heritage Month, has announced the 16th anniversary of ¡Viva Broward! and will feature a diverse Calendar of Events beginning with an official kick-off and unveiling at the 4th Annual Hispanic Women of Distinction luncheon on August 19th at DCOTA. The dozens of festivities continue through October 23rd. What began as a one day event on Las Olas Boulevard in 1989, has become the month-plus signature event of Hispanic Heritage Month in South Florida and plays a significant role in attracting Hispanic business to Broward. Last year, more than 100,000 people attended the numerous activities and exhibits county-wide.
From black tie galas to children's educational programs, free health fairs/health screenings and outdoor festivals, to business expos and Latin jazz concerts, Holy Cross Hospital ¡VIVA BROWARD! offers so much for the entire family.
