African-born, American-raised Daara J brings hip-hop full circle on “Boomerang” (Wrasse), which borrows from the ancient Senegalese form of rhythmic poetry called tasso.  Already a hit in Europe, this world music set fuses English, Spanish, French, and Wolof languages, with musical flavors of raga, jazz, Cuban and Caribbean sounds.
