A wild event that began last year, is the GLOBALfest at Joe’s Pub on Saturday, January 8. This is a whirlwind event that takes you on a sonic tour of the earth’s music makers. Shifting from one stage to another inside the Public Theater, Arts Presenters memebers and a few of the lucky members of the general public, get to fill their ears with amazing sounds. Featured performances includes, but are not limited to, the following artists: Antibalas, Eva Ayllon, Mory Kante, Lokou Kanza, Juana Molina, Noche Flamenco, Ollabelle, Paris Combo, Rokia Traore, Spanish Harlem Orchestra, Warsaw Village Band, Yoshida Brothers and DJ Rekha.
