Pedro Luis Ferrer has been active in the Cuban musical community since 1965. Generally, his songs have been recorded by popular musicians such aas Celia Cruz and Willy Chirino. In the last decade, Ferrer has dedicated himself to producing albums of his own under the guaracha style of Cuban music. Rustico is a continuation of that effort as he tells of the daily struggles of Cuban life through the traditional musical voice. 05/01/05
