Afropop Worldwide, Review >>
If you were lucky enough to catch KSA on his recent U.S. tour or if you'd like to get a vicarious feel for this Afropop legend in action, check Banning Eyre's beautiful photos and report. The "Chairman" as he's respectfully called not only did his full-out show at Roseland in NYC (produced by Thomas Rome for African Hypertext), but for the first ever in the U.S. he did a "palm wine" intimate show at Joe's Pub. Kudos to our colleagues Bill Bragin of Joe's Pub and KSA manager Andy Frankel for producing this very special evening. And stay tuned for acoustic concert highlights on our upcoming Hip Deep Portrait of King Sunny Ade in late June (by when our new upgraded www.afropop.org will be up, featuring current Afropop Worldwide programs streaming on demand. Stay tuned for details. And if you don't get our weekly Afropop e-Newsletter, you can register on Afropop.org.
