If the Head's Up high sing on this artist isn't enough for you, how about Bonnie Raitt's approval. A creative power house from Zimbabwe, Mtukudzi writes about the flow of life and how important it is to have everyone help everyone else along. Hippie sentiments to be sure, but they are presented without sounding like they should be coming out of the mouth's of Muppets. A fully well produced musical statement that has nothing but engaging moments on all levels, this is a world beat date that takes the whole form someplace new. A winner throughout. 04/27/05
