Tonight's Vengo party at Nikki Beach Club (1 Ocean Drive, 305-538-1111) offers free salsa, samba, merengue and belly dancing classes, along with global cocktails and free champagne for women, from 10-11 p.m. This week the world music party on the beach, with DJ Patrick Mohr spinning, also celebrates the release of the latest CD in Putumayo's Groove series.

North African Groove traces the intersecting influences of Arabic, African and Latin song. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of this CD goes to Search For Common Ground, a group looking for peaceful solutions in the Middle East and around the world. To quote the Egyptian singer Shady Sheha, on the cut On the Ride by the Turkish-German duo Eastenders:
