LURA/Di Korpu Ku Alma: Now that Cesaria Evora has turned us on to the sounds of Cape Verde, it's time for her younger, sexier protege to step to the fore and bring the rest of the world beat adventurers into the tent.  Kind of folkie and ethnic at the same time, Lura is a fine representative of the new generation of batuku songs and is sure to give the armchair traveler a real run for his money with this well conceived, easily charming and disarming set.
