Breezy music from Cape Verde

When most people think of music from Cape Verde, they think of the sad morna sound popularized by Cesaria Evora. Lura plays something very different: breezier, jazzier, more Latin and African styles known as batuku and funanu. That's in part because her roots are on a different island of the archipelago from Evora, and in part because the younger singer is based in Lisbon.
