The quirky, romantic, and gifted singer-songwriter Seu Jorge performs July 5 at the MFA.
Seu Jorge at the Museum of Fine Arts, July 5 at 6 and 8:30 p.m. Tickets $20 for members, seniors, and students, and $25 for general admission.
The MFA brings back the quirky, romantic, and gifted singer-songwriter/ thespian after a sold-out perform ance last fall. Jorge may still be best known to US audiences for his film roles including a turn as a seafaring troubadour crooning David Bowie songs in Portuguese in Wes Anderson's "The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou"--but his skills at melding sambe\a and pop have drawn high praise frmo fellow Brazillian musicians Caetano Veloso and Jorge Ben. 05/21/06
