An extraordinary pairing kicks off the Music Without Bor ders series in the jew el of the city's out door music venues. Brazil's Seu Jorge is perhaps best known for his bossa nova in terpretations of Da vid Bowie songs in the movie "The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou," but his bare- bones compositions also brim with clas sic touches. Amadou Bagayoko and Ma- riam Doumbia, blind married couple based in Mali, have been making bril liant records for dec ades, and last year's "Dimanche a Bama ko" is their best yet. Thursday; free.
