Queens Gazette, Sears Welcomes Latino Festival >>

City Councilmember Helen Sears (D-Jackson Heights) recently welcomed the ninth annual Latino Cultural Festival to Queens at Queens Theater in the Park in Flushing Meadows-Corona Park.

"I welcome the festival and all of the artists not only as a councilmember, but also as an avid art, music and performance devotee," Sears said. She said the festival would provide Queens residents with "the wonder that is Latino culture." 08/10/05
