Boris Kovac & La Campanella/World After History: Standing in the Balkans like a contemporary Bartok, Kovac loves the region and the influences he's soaked up while moving through the world. This is a genre splicer of a world beat set that shows what happens when borders fall and the vista stretch out to the great beyond. A delightful hybrid that doesn't want to do anything but dispense good vibes, this is the sound of joy lurking under pain and fighting for a way out. Hot stuff.
