This disc is a delightful cross-cultural meeting between musicians from Europe, the British Isles and the Cameroon rainforest. It's the kind of fusion that too often results in music that is long on heartwarming politics and short on compelling musical results, but just listen to the gorgeous "Sad Among Strangers" or the densely complex "Boulez Boulez" to see how great this type of thing can sound when it's done right.
