Marcel Khalife and Al Mayadine Ensemble      

Lebanese oud virtuoso Marcel Khalife is adept at spiking Middle Eastern music with melodies and curlicues that come wholesale from the West; his parents were Christians, after all. The Al Mayadine Ensemble, however, will lead him in the music from Taqasim, his record dedicated to the work of Palestinian poet Mahmoud Darwish.
