This is a softly gorgeous album by Ugandan singer and kalimba player Samite Mulondo, who performs both traditional and original songs with a shifting array of backing musicians. Some tunes are given a spare acoustic setting, others a full electric band arrangement, but all are stunningly lovely. Highly recommended to all world-music collections. (RA) 03/01/06 >> go there
