Somehow in Andalusia before the Inquisition, a lot of cultures we linked, somehow Cuban and Algerian cultures fell into that mix. Here to heavy hitters meld their playing to come up with what they call 'roots music that never was'. Why not. With jazz at the core of a wild multi-culti date that brings in elements from all corners of the Andalusia experience and ties it together with an Arabian bow, this is clearly a wild set from start to finish. Using New York as their meeting ground, and surely absorbing some of the multi-culti bastardization mix going on there, these old pros deliver the goods in high, fine style. A rousing, wild outing that the open eared world beater should make it a point not to miss.
