On "Natural" which follows quickly in "Rustico"'s footsteps, Pedro
continues to mold his own raw music with vibrant eclectic folktales that to an outsider may seem a bit absurd. After all he relates tales about naked women with antennas, a one-armed man who falls in love with a beautiful women who turns out to be a little light in the intelligence department, and ingrown hairs. He sings alongside his daughter Lena at times marking a new path for fellow Cuban musicians to track calling his style "changuisa" as he draws on rural Cuban music from various regions throughout the isolated island nation. The percussion is quite luxorious with marimbula, bongos, cowbell, claves, bata drums, maracas, cajon, and guiro. The second in a planned series of four albums painted in the raw stripped down fashion that Pedro Luis Ferrer prefers, "Natural" is an intense yet relaxed listen to
