The Jazz Police, Concert Preview >>
The Ottawa International Jazz Festival runs from June 22nd through July 2nd (Complete performance schedule follows). Now in its 26th year, the TD Canada Trust Ottawa International Jazz the Festival opens its Main stage with the Concert under the Stars Series featuring John Pizzarelli, known as one of the most accomplished interpreters of the Great American Songbook and his brilliant guitar work and smooth vocals. This superstar and son of jazz great Bucky Pizzarelli, will be joined by The Nat Raider Orchestra to open the 26th celebrations on June 22 in Confederation Park.
Jazz Meets the World returns again this year with artists the infectious sounds of Ska Cubano with their amazing mento/calypso/ska/rock steady and roots reggae fusion sound echoing these rootstocks in their music. Sunday, July 2
