This is kind of a fantasy record that supposes Castro
didn't cut off Buena Vista Social Club from Mighty Sparrow and they were all
able to trade MP#s with Bob Marley. A mixture of old and new as well as
repositioned island music is mixed up into a wild stew of an adult, backyard
party record. This is a dandy non-stop party from a time that never was.
The players behind this set are savvy enough which parts of the kitchen sink
to throw into the mix to avoid the parts that don't work. If you dig island
music and want to have it take you some crazy, new place, this is the place.
Don't be surprised if you don't want to leave.
