'Ska' is the limit
WHAT happens when two ska fans fly to Cuba? They create band and call it Ska Cubano.
And you can have a listen to the highly danceable sounds of the group as Nathan Lerner, aka Natty Bo, and most of the band - with the possible exception of cubano Benny Billy(who sounds remarkably tike Cuban singer Benny More, but might not make it due to visa complications) take the stage this weekend at Central Park.
The group will perform hits from its second album "Ay Caramba," which is a mixture of Jamaican ska from the early '60s, reggae, son montuno, mambo, rumba, calypso and Yoruba.
Saturday, Central Park SummerStage. 3 p.m. -6p.m. Free.
Album in stores July 1.
