Dub Side of the Moon
Easy Star
If you're exhausted from Pulse's bombast, this might be one way of winding down. The growing cult status of a 2003 reggae recast of Dark Side of the Moon inspired Easy Star, the label behind the project, to come up with a touring band to play the disc live. Although the full 53-minute performance is here - and it's great fun - the special features consist mostly of insipid backstage foorage, a few tedious interviews and the always-useless fan comments. While it's fascinating to hear Pink Floyd's psych-prog classic fitted with a rasta crown, this is otherwise a package of slim pickins.
