 Acclaimed Celtic group plays 
 
The Churchill Arts Council will present a perfor mance of Irish music by the internationally acclaimed Celtic band, Dervish, at the Oats Park Art Center on Nov. 4 at 8 p.m.
The band will conduct a free conversation about Celtic music at 4 p.m. on the day of the performance. To attend the conversation, RSVP to (775)423-1440.
Dervish has been hailed for their performances of music from Sligo, in western Ireland. They have gar nered major Irish music awards including Best Tradi tional /Folk Group of 2005. They fuse immense passion and verve with stunning virtuosity.
Their performances have myriad tones and high energy to beautifully measured and understated lyrics of life and love, coupled with melodic improvisations.
Doors open at 7 p.m., and there will be a no-host bar. Tickets are $17 for CAC members, $20 for nonmembers and are available in Fallen at Jeff's Copy Express, Postage Plus and ITT/NAS Fallen. CAC also now accepts Visa arid Mastercard for ticket purchases by calling 423-1440.
