6. Pun for all
Christians have Yuletide, so why not have Jewltide for Jews who like to rock? The musical celebration features six-member Eastern European folk-punk band Golem, which hails from New York, and Yiddish rapper SoCalled--and it's sure to put a different spin on the usual holiday sounds. How do we know? Golem's latest album, "Fresh Off Boat," exemplifies the band's hard-edged take on traditional klezmer. As for SoCalled, the name says it all: His debut album is titled "The SoCalled Seder: A Hip Hop Haggadah."
