ANTIBALAS AFROBEAT ORCHESTRA + SUGARMAN THREE  Ladies and Gentleman, are you ready for not-quite-stars-yet time?  Within their little corner of the world, though, both these retro-active ensambles are decidedly large indeed, and I'm not just tlaking about teh number of people onstage.  Antibalas offer a modification on Fela Kuti's template that's fun on record (Talkatif is their most recent) and blazing live.  Something similar goes for Sugarman 3, only sub the J.B.'s and/or Dyke & the Blazers for Fela, and Pure Can Sugar (Daptone) amply demonstrates.  Bowery Ballroom, at 9.
