Gigi "Illuminated Audio" 3.5 stars 

     Even better though is Gigi's "Illuminated Audio," a remix disc of tracks from the stellar debut disc by Ethiopian singer Gigi.  This time producer Bill Laswell has taken the songs and twisted them in new and unexpected ways.  In fact, much of it is virtually unrecognizable from the original and "Illuminated Audio" very much stands on its own.
