After fighting its way to the top of the heap, Feist's The Reminder tops the national campus radio chart for the second straight week.

Following closely on Feist's heels is a former #1 album, Frog Eyes' Tears Of The Valedictorian, at #2. Another former #1, Joel Plaskett Emergency's Ashtray Rock, moves back up two places to #3. Immaculate Machine's Fables climbs 19 spots to #4, while the Stars remix album, Do You Trust Your Friends, rises 28 positions to #5. Blonde Redhead's 23 drops three places to #6, staying just one step ahead of last week's Chart Sizzler winner, Shapes And Sizes' Split Lips, Winning Hips, A Shiner. Dog Day's Night Group rises four places to #8, Battles' Mirrored climbs a notch to #9 and Bjork's Volta stumbles six spots to #10.

Plague Park Montreal duo Handsome Furs take the Chart Sizzler honour for having the highest debut on the chart. Their first effort, Plague Park, enters at #17 on the strength of top 30 airplay on eight Canadian campus stations — most notably #1 on CFRE (University Of Toronto's Mississauga campus), #4 on CJAM (Windsor), #5 on CJSR (Alberta) and #9 on two of the largest alternative radio stations in Montreal, CISM and CIBL. The Chart Sizzler runner-up was The Choir Practice's self-titled album at #20, followed by Black Moth Super Rainbow's Dandelion Gum at #28.

Prezens There was quite a turnover on the five specialty charts. Moka Only's Vermillion on the hip-hop countdown was the only #1 from last week to survive. Cephalic Carnage's Xenosapien jumps a single place to take over #1 on the Metal/Punk chart. Montag's Going Places moves up four spots to top the Electronic chart and Balkan Beat Box's Nu Med roams freely up seven places to capture the World/Folk flag. Finally, David Torn's Prezens enters the Jazz/Blues top 10 at #1. Prezens hit #1 on the strength of #2 rankings on both CFUV (Victoria) and CJSR, as well as #4 on CKUT (McGill). 06/12/07 >> go there
