Indian Ocean sounds from the Comoros Islands, between Madagascar and Africa, soaked in Sufism in the case of this obviously talented and relatively deep-voiced female singer and musician (she plays the gambusi, akin to an oud), who leads a trio featuring mbira in Middle-Eastern-flavored acoustic songs of charm and power. 08/01/07
