CHORO ENSEMBLE/Nosso Tempo: A regional music that captured Brazil because it was the sound playing in small towns when radio first hit the country, it has pretty much stayed a regional sound all these years until finally getting some traction here largely powered by the efforts of this crew. This international crew came together in New York, pretty much brought Choro to town and the country, but did it in a forward looking and sounding way refusing to rely fall back on traditions foreign ears didn't know anyway. Described as 'tropical dixieland', this crew delivers a fun, swinging sound that open world beat ears will take to easily.
