The exalted a cappella South African ensemble's landmark 1987 album “Shaka Zulu” paid rich tribute to the legendary African warrior, and they celebrate their cultural heritage again here. But while their positive messages of unity and dedication are timely, and the trademark polyrhythmic harmonies exchanged by bandleader Joseph Shabalala and his eight-man band of relatives and friends remain lovely, the music is less invigorating. Fans should be prepared for quieter moments of grace this time. In concert at USC's Bovard Auditorium Tuesday, Feb. 26.
