The Russian funk/jazz/pop group, AUKTYON have a surrealist edge, and a very strong energy, both live and in the studio. Their rhythms are unusual with some based on Russian folk roots music. On GIRLS SING, lead singer and songwriter, Leonid Federov had the band go in a more free and loose direction with the addition of Marc Ribot and John Medeski on the tracks. 04/30/08 >> go there
