Slavic Soul Party! San Fran world-music agency Trouble World Wide hosts this night of globetrotting acts with “hybrid identities,” and they’re not kidding about that: The bill features Rana Santacruz, a Brooklyn musician by way of Mexico City who plays self-described “Irish mariachi.” Ramiro Musotto mixes berimabau (a single-string percussion instrument) and electronica. Rupa and the April Fishes whip up a feverish blend of cabaret, French chanson, jazzy bossa nova, and woozy Indian ragas. And NYC’s own Slavic Soul Party! bring it on home with their Balkan brass boogie.
