Quebec villages have a rich tradition in song, one that includes mouth music and foot tapping.  Le Vent Du Morde is a young quartet of singers and multi-instrumentalists who capture the energy of Quebcois music on Dans les airs.  The 'bakers dozen' of sounds is created with a dashing miz of fiddle, hurdy-gurdy, accordion, guitar and superb vocals.  The humor of "Rosette" sets the pace, joining with "La vieux cheval," on an album where it's not about the titles of the songs, but more about the sounds.  The instruments are old tradition, much like the songs, but the music is addictive toe-tapping pleasure.  Le Vent Du Nord is "Simon Beaudry, Nicolas Boulerice, Rejean Brunet and Oliver Demers, the latter a performer for Cirque de Soleil when not with the group.   Catch Le Vent du Nord as they make tow local appearences - March 21: Maude's Closet, Ashfield, MA and April 6: Emerson Umbrella, Concord, MA
