LES YEUX NOIRS & ASEFA
LYN are way more traditional and less raucous in their gypsy-klezmer updates than New York's Gogol Bordello, but they can rock hard too. Frantically paced boom-chick is the bedrock for spirally horn solos and minor key meanderings, and when the beat drops a sentimental Hungarian folk song takes its place.
