**** (4-stars) Haiku, from the young Cuban singer Yusa, is alive with sonic detail. Each song has its defining sound: the huffing, clicking rhythm track that underpins "Walking Heads"; the far-off whistling at the start of "No Tengo Otro Lugar"; the languid conga drums of "Conga Pasagera"; the slow trumpet vamp of "Paris, Muy Bien"; the hazy guitar toccatas of "Gente Simple". One track, "Minimum", passes in a frozen swirl of electronica, but the rest of the album is resolutely Caribbean and summery.
