I'm a pretty eclectic music fan, and this CD really fits the bill....I really enjoyed the diversity of sounds, rhythms and feelings that the album imparts. It's truly an amazing conceptual undertaking for Jayme Stone to not only travel to Africa, but to also find compatible musicians to record and share the prolific musical message. Truly a fusion of international musical discourse and understanding that also has a profound educational element.

I was particularly impressed with the string and vocal conversations that take place between banjo, kora and voice. While no doubt a bit esoteric for certain listeners, I really enjoy this album for the mood it creates.
