1. Max Raabe: This renowned German baritone and his big band specialize in Weimar-era songs and American show tunes and pop standards of the 1920s and '30s, delivered with stunning musicianship and a quirky, kitschy, wink-wink sense of old-fashioned European restraint and propriety. It's a unique combination, to say the least.
