Performing Arts
In performing arts this week, we start with Lincoln Center Out of Doors, which begins on July 28th. The festival celebrates its 40th anniversary with a three-week schedule of free music, dance and spoken word events. Don’t miss the 80th birthday celebration of legendary choreographer Paul Taylor. Well known works, such as Esplanade and Airs, created by Taylore in the 1970s, will grace the Damrosch Stage on August 5th. The human body becomes the main instrument in the New York debut of the International Body Music Festival, which begins August 12th.
