A violinist and a left leaning multi instrumentalist call up a few of their progressive minded friends and call in the chits on their love of middle eastern music from the Dead Sea part of that world. Very heavy into Turkish/Klezmer fusion, this set is a sonic getaway for those who like their world beat culled from the back alleys as opposed to the tourist lounges. Fun stuff where rules aren’t meant to be followed to closely, this is a real find for the arm chair traveler.
