Kaila Flexer plays violin and viola. Gari Hegedus plays the lauoto, the baglama, the bulgari, the divan, the cura, the latva, the oud; almost anything with strings, in fact. Teslim presents instrumental songs wrung through impossibly complicated rhythms. The stately "Stone's Throw" has nyckelharpa added by the Finnish-Swedish player Olav Johansson. "Ajuar De Novia Galana/Timarxou Street Dojo" starts as a Sephardic violin melody and transmutes into a wonderful extended raga.
