The Portuguese music known as fado is a little like the blues — music about love gone wrong presented in dramatic fashion. Fado, though, is less about the guitar and more about the voice, and the singer known as Mariza is all about the voice. The Washington Post said of Mariza that “she’s turned the melancholic image of fado inside out.” She’ll sing from the Flynn Center stage at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday (March 4). $24-$39. 863-5966, www.flynntix.org.
