Argentine singer-songwriter Juana Molina draws comparisons to Bjork, Beth Orton and Lisa Germano with her atmospheric, guitar-based music, enhanced by ambient sounds and electronica. She sings in her native Rioplatense Spanish, as well as in French. Entertainment Weekly named her second album, "Segundo," best world-music album of 2003.
