Federico Aubele is adored and admired in some circles, while completely oblivious to others. An Argentine by birth, Aubele has a particular knack for blending elements of downtempo electronica with strains of jazz and R & B similar to the soulful side of DC's Thievery Corporation. Which is perhaps why they signed him to their label. Amatoria will hopefully build on the European success that his '07 Thievery produced album Panamericana garnered him, as well as breaking through stateside more than he's experienced to this point.
