Cephalopop, CD Review >>
Amatoria is the third album from Argentinian Federico Aubele. I think it's more laid back than previous albums, without all the rousing dance numbers. That makes it the perfect album for a relaxed summer evening. He strums out lullabys and ballads on his guitar. He teams up with Natalia Clavier, and others, to sing sweetly in Spanish. While the keyboards are still there, I think they're minimalized. The electronic effects aren't as prominent as previous albums, making the focus an almost acoustic South American experience. Definitely worth getting. 08/11/09 >> go there
